  2. Dear Meenu,

Thank you for your interest in the conference. At this point, we are still seeking funding to cover the basic costs of the conference itself, and so we are not able to offer any financial assistance. If we are able to do so in the future, information about this will be posted on the Web site. As you can see from the Hotel and Registration links on our conference Web site, the registration fee and hotel room rate are less expensive than at many academic conferences.

I hope that this is helpful.

    With best wishes,

    Edith

  4. Dear Shailendra,

Thank you for your message and your interest in the conference. Yes, we would be eager to receive a proposal for a paper from you on any contemporary woman writer. The list of writers on our conference call for papers is only very partial, intended to suggest some options but certainly not to limit people.

We will look forward to receiving your abstract.

    With best wishes,

    Edith

  5. Hi,

I have reserved a room at the hotel (Hilton San Diego) for the 6th through the 10th (4 nights total), and I was wondering if anyone would like to share a room. The total cost of the room (with tax) is $580.94, and we would split this cost in half.

I am looking for another female, preferably a non-smoker. I'm not sure this is the correct venue for this post, but if you see this and would like to discuss, please contact me at toksman@hotmail.com

    Thanks,
    Tahneer

  8. Hi, Hatice.

We hope to have the conference programme finalized and uploaded to our Web site by the end of April. When this has been accomplished, I will send out an email message regarding it to all of our delegates. You'll then be able to access it directly and print up a copy by going to the conference Web site.

    With best wishes,

    Edith

    Hello everyone,

I have reserved a room at the hotel (Hilton San Diego) for the 6th through the 9th (3 nights total), and I was wondering if anyone would like to share a room. The total cost of the room (with tax) is $435.71, and we would split this cost in half. (The cost might go up a little when I request a room for two people-- I would let you know immediately.)

I am looking for another female; I'm a non-smoker. If you are interested, please contact me at toksman@hotmail.com

    Thanks,
    Tahneer
